Review methodology

Selection

Products enter the catalog because a size cluster needs an answer, not because a brand approached the site. A product is added only after its dimensions clear the check on how we test, and only if it can be bought as a listed item rather than ordered custom.

Structure

Every review answers the same set of questions in the same order: who it fits, who should skip it, the fit class and dimensions, key features, what owners report going well, what owners report going wrong, alternatives, and a verdict. Sections are not dropped when the answer is inconvenient — a product with a known weak point keeps that section.

What counts as evidence

Manufacturer specifications for dimensions and materials. Recurring owner reports for durability and comfort patterns, described as patterns rather than as measurements. Where the site has not verified something, the page says so instead of filling the gap.

Updates

Pages carry a last-checked date. A page is rechecked when a reader reports a mismatch, when a product goes out of production, or on the regular maintenance pass — whichever comes first. Dimensions that change on the maker's site are treated as a correction, not as a silent edit.
